Exclamation XB4 Gear Diff Leakage Solved

Since I have had the buggy for a few months now I have had a terrible, and I mean terrible issue with diff leakage. 3 runs and it's 1/4 empty. I did some reading and noticed others having this issue prior to building. I must also say that I have raced Xray products for the past 3 years and have built and rebuilt T3/T4 diff's several times so I'm quite familiar with the building of gear diff's.

The ONLY thing different that I did was use Green Slime in the initial build. That was it. So I decided to do a test. I soaked some brand new O-Rings in 350wt oil and left them for a week. I have just now taken apart my diff and placed both the Green Slimed ones next to the new ones I soaked. Guess what?, the Green Slimed ones have not expanded and are of a green colour and the soaked ones have expanded! There's my problem solved. Due to the lack of expansion, which is very noticeable, I have been suffering leakages terribly.

So happy I got this sorted. No more Green Slime on new o-rings again as it hindered the expansion of the ring to complete the seal.
