TD have a new one: http://www.team-durango.com/part-inf...artNo=TD310243
The washer used there is a 1/8th rallycross clutch bell shim, done that same mod in the past and it works.

Yes if this spacer has worn too much it will stop you from being able to tighten the slipper up any more. You can improve the situation by using thicker AE slipper pads but when fitting these you may have to cut some of the edges down so that the pad fits the spur perfectly otherwise it will move the spur eccentrically and you will end up stripping the teeth. I just dremelled off the worn areas on my spacer and then used a 1/8th clutch bell shim either side and that protects the ends of the spacer.

I found the AE slipper pads just dropped straight in, no fuss, no trimming.......
Will have to see if my spacer is worn tho! |

For only $3 I ordered the new one
I did notice that the upper case screws were a bit loose so I gave them a bit of heave ho and that helped a bit and still runs smoothly |

Same here. Drop in and forget, even with Schumacher spur gears. I'm running AE pads since the kit ones got glazed just after a few packs running on carpet. |

I only stated that they need trimming IF and only IF they do not drop in flat which sometimes happens on RW or Durango spurs. I had a friend that I helped out and his slipper pads were not lying flat and he went through alot of spur gears. When I fitted the new spur with the pad being flat he has not gone through one since.

The new part is not the same as the old one, you will be fine with the new Durango part.

I've had no issues with the standard kit one, however I ordered one when getting my tire order in so its now fitted just incase mine gave up the ghost. I measured the old one and there's no wear, chucked it anyway. I'm not going to quibble over £3.

Its on the TD site under optional parts for the 210. That's where I got it I can't remember it off the top of my head.
I thought you didn't want a 210? Mine's sorted now, well chuffed with it. |
