Hi,

Im guessing beacuse the TCO2EVO is a rear motored car and the TCO2C is a mid motored car, both cars have different handeling characteristics and differrent purposes (track surface type) as in the UK the favoured suface is astro and carpet were the rear motor seems to struggle to get round as the weight is out the back so the front struggles to get grip from the front tyres when streering and not so much dirt/clay where the rear motored is used as you need more rear end traction in, around and mainly out the corners.

You will have to wait for the top guys to read your post (as I have not been racing for long) to tell you the detailed differences but I thought I would post for you to not leave you hanging at why people use them more.

Steven

That's exactly right, not much call for the rear motor car week in week out on carpet and astro. Where you would use it is Robin Hood dirt and any other low grip track.

Having said that we have some evo's at our club and they do well.

I have a rear motored xPro which is the old ansmann branded version of the Evo. I'm using it quite regularly at the moment as its providing lot better traction on some of the tracks I race on. I have seen a few rear motor ansmann/ team c cars being raced.
However when dry the mid motor is a lot quicker on the astro although I'm sure there are a lot of drivers that could still get a rear motor around quicker than me.

The xpro is shorter as a evo.
I use the t2evo with good sucsess on astro and carpet.
Its all about setup and driving style. You have to adapt if you run rear motor on high grip tracks.
