I really rate the bmax4. In my opinion one of the most satisfying 4wd to drive...shame support for it in the uk is dwindling.
Anyway I purchased a world spec conversion kit some months back (cheers Craig W) and it's taken me ages to install it! Anyhow, enjoy the pics! I've shown some of the key features. I had a hopped up bmax so this became my recipient of the kit. ![]() The kit includes several options ![]() The new front and rear driveshafts are more durable and the ends are protected by a plastic swivel cap which I'd assume would reduce wear and tear. ![]() Some more nice alloy bling! These are the new upper arm mounts: bit fiddly to install as you have to undo the gear boxes. Two front and two back. ![]() New slipper assembly. Again a little fiddly to assemble but when installed the slipper nut is more accessible which wasn't the case before ![]() Probably not so clear but there are new shock towers which have some plastic shaved off to permit clearance of the new upper arm mounts. ![]() My electrics install. Orion r10 esc, savox servo, spektrum receiver and speed passion 8.5t motor. Wires are a bit messy as I haven't soldered some of them yet! ![]() The conversion kit comes with the new lightweight front cab body. I went with the stock look courtesy of the excellent Mike Parker of number 5 designs... ![]() ![]() Ready to roll with some "older brothers"! ![]() |
