I'll put my post back on track. I gave the car a run today at croston raceway and found the car very stable on power and a little twitchy off power. It was fun to drive. Looking forward to some more testing at southports indoor astro track next Sunday.

I Ran the car today thanks to simon from southport lending me a lipo as mine havnt arrived as of yet.

southports track was an amazing astro turf track with carpeted jumps and very good lighting.

with the help of Carl Latham, and Damian Whittle, we got the car running happily and with a very good pace.
Round 1
i found the car pushing at slow speeds in the corners but the drive out the corner and down the strait was very impressive.
15 laps was done top lads where doing 17
Round 2
we sofend the front end, and raised the front links.
we got some more steering but still not enough, we also found that under acceliation the back of the car raises,
16 laps was done top lads where doing 17
Round 3
the back of the car was lowerd so the car sits nose high, the front links shortend and washers removed.
the car drove alot better but had a slight pendulm motion going on power and off power steering improved a little more.
16 laps done top lads where doing 18
Round 4
we found that the car wasnt getting full lock so a longer servo horn was fitted, this helped alot more in the corners i also lowerd the front steering hubs aswell.
the car is now running alot better and found the car very stable and could attack the high speed corners.
17 laps done top lads doing 18
Round 5
I removed the weight in the rear of the car this made it alot more adjile and seemed to solve the low speed corners.
Finals
I qualified 8th in the B Final and finnished 3rd,

over all with the help of Carl and Damian the car went from strenth to strenth

next outing will be at Chadderton as long as my stubby lipos arive.

Here is a bit of an update,

with the help of the two Tony's (Costello and Parr) i have modified a C4.1 chassis to accept the 410 rear end.

we have then made a shortend drive shaft so a stubbl lipo fits between the gearbox and lipo, this also puts the lipo more setral to help with weight ballance.

I saw this car at turf wars on Sunday. I was keen to find out more on it, then I found it on here! That drive shaft was VERY close to the lipo, I'm glad there haven't been any issues. It looks fantastic, its the first homemade car I've ever seen race. Goes well on track

Here are the pics of the buggy as it stands, i have found the car very easy to drive and on power steering is exelent, the onl;y thing i need to work on now is the slight rotational twist while it is in the air when toy adjust thottle.

i have also 2 different chassis from tony parr from the c4.1 that he makes the std and +8. the +8 makes the car feel very stable and confident to push, and the std is great for those tight twisty trackswhere you need alot of steering. on a hole i thing this is a good car, i have a few more parts and mods to try and this will be done at chadderton this weekend.
roll on the slippy stuff.

I have been following this for a while now. Looks very good! I have been doing a fabrication myself. How much for the chassis and does he sell blank ones with no holes? What body do you run, any pics of the bottom chassis to body fitment? Any info would be great, thanks. Keep us posted...
