Default HELP!!! Speed passion reventon r programming

I am going absolutely spare trying to change my reventon r to blinky mode. First cannot install drivers for the program on my pc and second the latest update on speedpassion.net is stating I must have the LCD card and not the LED one.

Have you tried installing the drivers as an administrator? Didn't try blinky but ST01 and Mod1 went in fine for us on windows 7. Can try blinky if you wish to see if it works with the LED box?

I have the software working on my netbook with xp. Installed fine and if I remember right so did the usb driver files.using the led programmer that came with the speedo. Only bit I dont like is the program is a bit slow to load sometimes I think its not working but that maybe the netbooks , not a big problem.

I will have a go tonight and let you know. I see there was a software update last Friday I will try with our current software first and then update and try again. Update has MOD2 with extreme brake performance Son wanted more brakes so will be trying that next Tuesday.

He's getting on great with the "R" using MOD1 with 18.5 of timing and DRRS of 5 on a LRP 7.5 This week both motor and speedo running at 65 degrees so all good so far

As requested this is what I tried tonight: -

Opened” SP Reventon PC Interface” software
Disconnected fan from ESC and plugged LED box into ESC (lipos not connected) and laptop
Selected firmware and clicked Stock0 V18-308b from drop down box
Clicked OK, clicked confirm update
At download success popup, clicked OK
Stock0 loaded fine.

I then uninstalled the version 1.1.0.19 of the “SP Reventon PC Interface” software and installed latest version 1.1.0.20
Updated LED program card by holding down reset button on card and plugged into laptop. Selected update firmware and clicked V1.4. Plugged LED card back into ESC and loaded Stock0 V20 with no problems

Mod2 is only available for the Reventon Pro so reloaded Mod1 again

The LCD card only needed for doing custom settings (1% at a time)

Hope this helps
Mike

Welshmerlin, your a good man thanks for your time. I rang Schumacher today, Mark Marshall is the person if you have problems with speed passion gear. It appears the problem was on my laptop so I reverted to my old clockwork pc which accepted the driver info! So all sorted. THANKS GUYS!
