I've fitted everything up, as well as the driveshafts. Everything works just can't tell if the rear end is too wide now or not.

I don't see why the 210 rear end would be more durable - but I haven't actually driven the cars, so perhaps there's my problem
As far as checking the width goes, you could go to a club to see if they have a box to measure the car with - I found though that a tape measure or ruler was also pretty accurate: The widest point of your car will probably be the rear side of the rear wheels at the height of the axle - if it's below 250mm there it should be ok.
Another thing you could do is compare it to a standard DEX410 - if it's the same or narrower than you'll be fine, otherwise you might have to do some more accurate measuring.
