Default Core-rc 45r/speed passion motor combo

I have just recieved one of these combo set, but cannot see how to alter the timing?

Has anybody got any ideas.

Timing on the motor or speedo? On the speedo you would need the optional programming box.

It should be a V3 competition motor, in which case you have to loosen the three screws that hold the can together, and rotate the sensor within the slot.

The sensor is actually held in place with a big silicone spacer, which grips it very hard. Sometimes you have to take the motor apart to release the sensor board and move it.

Ok i new to all this brushless stuff. 1 question, do i need to do this if i buy a programmer and set the timming on that. Does the esc overide manual timming?
