Losi xxx diff problem

Ive just come to rebulid the diff on my losi xxx cr after the diff nut came undone and the diff gear melted. Ordered a losi xxx 2:43:1 diff gear (LOSA3036) came to put it on and its bigger than the original and wont fit in the gearbox case

Strange, but are you sure your car is a XXXCR ?

If it has the back-end of a BK2, it will have a 46teeth diff gear (LOSA3074). (2,56 ratio)

BK1 and CR have the 52teeth (LOSA3036) (2,43 ratio)

Just look at the colour of the gearbox : only the BK2 has a grey one, all other Losi XXX have a black one. Gearboxes also have a different shape.

just counted the teeth on my diff gear and it had 46t so it must be a bk2 balck end Ordered one from DMS but wont come till tuesday so will have to use my spare car for the weekends racing
