I am wondering what are the advantages and dissadsvantages between a std front bulkhead and a brass one on a 2wd mid motor car.

Brass version is mainly used as a way of adding extra weight too the front end

Less steering or more specifically 'calmed down' at high speeds on higher grip, can give you more steering at low speeds. It depends on the surface.

Some cars like the cougar can be quite light at the front, so it would wash out in the corners if you didn't add weight.
