Default LRP Sphere tc

I run an lrp sphere tc speedo in my x5 and it has the annoying habbit of cutting out. It only semms to happen at the begining of a race and never more than twice.
I have reset several times and made sure it is on the nimh setting rather than the lipo setting but this has made no difference.
Help!!

cutting out as it 'jitter' or just cutting out as in turning its self off and you have to switch it off and back on again??

do you loose everything? no steering? or just throttle.

give us a complete run-down of exactly what happens and what you notice and hopefully we can give you an idea of what to do to cure it.

My speedo reset itself (ok i held the set button instead of the mode button while check temp :P) and it reverted to lipo mode and with the 4.5 under heavy acceleration it would cut. Turned it back to nimh mode and it worked fine. Although you say you've checked this so im not sure what the problem could be.
