I did use them with good results, you can always adjust length by installing different length eyelets or tops...

You need to change the top cap to the short ones (provided on the kit) or you will lack uptravel. Everything else is identical, unless you use the NGC arms that need longer (medium) shock bottoms.

That is unless you want to run with the tower mounts raised in which case you may want the longer tops and/ or different bottoms can also be used. Depends on your set up and what your trying to achieve.

You wouldn't want to run with the towers raised further than I do (1.75mm) as the higher the more flex in the joint.
I run short caps & standard rod ends front, medium rear with the law43 rear end.

Some, I have a spare set of LAW43 rear parts if you need them

I'm on the law43 rear end already so that's cool. I'm seeing that most current setups are on the BB shocks and my only set are on my vega. I'm experimenting with my FS2 at the mo trying to get the right feeling from it. It's on small bores and its been pretty good thus far. I'm going to Worksop with it and want it to be pretty safe as the surface is slippery. My experience from last year with an FS/SP was that the rear would break away unpredictably without warning when the car was pushed harder. That put me off to the point where I sold it and went back to my 410. I'm back now with an FS2 non SP and don't want to find the same scary handling trait showing me up again. Lol. I've gone onto ncg rear end and so far it seems really good. I've not raced on truly low grip yet tho. All advise(if its relevant) is gratefully recieved. I'm gonna motor down to a 7.5 to calm it through the twistys but I can add some boost for the straight.

I use the Evdoka/Kev Lee setup and the car is brilliant everywhere with minor adjustment. The NCG arms should give you the rear end grip you were lacking, without compromizing steering.

The BB shocks are good as they are on the 2WD cars but I feel that the stock pistons give too much damping on 4WD, making the car a little sluggish (which can be good on some tracks), so following RogerM advices I use Nick Gurnell tapered pistons (5x1.2 35WT front and 5x1.35 32.5WT rear) and my car is better than ever.
Thread about tapered pistons here: http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77345

Gayo, thanks for the plug ..

I've made another step in the Lazer BB setup, so much so that my friend Adam U came down off the rostrum after running my car with a cheshire cat grin that he still had for the whole journey back home!! Reduced my average lap times considerably by being so much safer to drive but if anything even quicker on a single lap.

I will publish it as soon as I have some feedback on one special component used in it ... suits me, suits Adam ... just need to know if that mod will work for others

Any news on this Rog? I'm on the verge of putting my order in for pistons but wanna make sure I get the correct ones. Cheers.

The pistons are 5x1.2 fronts & 5x1.35 rear (although I would suggest having 5x1.30 tapers available to go in the rear under certain circumstances).

I believe there are 4 people wanting to try my car / setup this weekend so hopefully once they have all given me feedback + what I've already had I will be happy to release it.

Hopefully there will be a tuning part that is on my car available very soon too ... so far feedback on that is 100% approval of the improvement .....
