Default Alloy hop-ups

Once again yesterday I had to retire from a race after a small tumble thanks to a front camber link pulling out of the plastic shock tower mount (LA209 / LA210) on my ZX-5. This has happened before front and rear and seems to be caused by the ball stud not having enough plastic to bite into once you place a washer under the stud.

Are there available:
1. Ballstuds with a longer thread (say 2mm more)?
2. An alloy version of the mount LA209 / LA210?

Any help will be appreciated.
