I worked at twr jaguar many years ago and there we would flat it down with ultra fine grade wet and dry, give it a couple of coats of clear lacquer then polish it with t cut.

If you can get hold of epoxy resin, mix up a small amount. Dip the corner of paper towel in and gently wipe it across the carbon fibre. Then polish. Brings back the original shine with what is used originally. This will give a streak free finish. Literally a smear though, any more and it will pool up.

t cut or rubbing compound to clean it then polish with a good car polish, dont expect your servo tape to stick well afterwards though!

You need to get your hands on a product called mono coat by amber composites or maybe chem trend. It's used as a sealer for carbon but you get a good shiny finish after applying a few coats. Using clear lacquer you might find the carbon might discolour over time.
