Default ZX-5 SP Knuckle & Hub Carriers

Damn...I crashed the car against a wall and broke the left Knuckle & Hub Carriers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I checked on the Kyosho website but it seems that this part is not exist yet as spare part (should be code LA-254)...do you think that I can replace both left and right with Knuckle & Hub Carriers of the "regular" ZX-5 (code LA-219 7)???

I really hope so...otherwise I will be stucked untill the SP spare parts won't be available!!!!!!

P.S. if anybody has the LA-254 please let me know...

Try to contact your local distributor. When I asked Kyosho Germany, they told me that the SP parts should arrive mid May. It's about time...

LA 254 should be available in th UK, your local model shop should be able to get them from Kyosho UK.

the original ZX5 has completely different front hubs and knuckles so they won't be compatible.

microtech have the SP ones in stock here

Spares have certainly been available, I've had spaes of these parts since before Xmas and had no problem getting any spares for the car.

This part seems to be the weak point, although I am yet to break one. I believe that Kyosho are aware and are looking at what can be done to improve this part.

your right, bit wierd. give them a call if you are in the UK and order over the phone.

haven't seen any others that have a stock on show, but imagine most decent kyosho stockists would have them or be able to get them fairly quick.

That's the point unfortunatly...I'm not in UK!!!
And here in Italy, where I live it's really hard to find spare parts for buggies because everybody run with touring cars!!!!!!
Seems like people don't like jumping here...

the alloy ones are for the old ZX5 so won't fit if you have an SP. Most of the aluminium ones on ebay were of very low quality and bend quite easily. Better to stick with the plastic ones and try to avoid crashing!!

I destroyed another knuckle and hub today, fortunately the side I still had as a spare. I sent an e-mail to Kyosho Germany asking when the parts will be available hereabouts, mentioning that I was very happy about the car, but not their parts support, and I mentioned that I might be forced to consider buying a car from a better supported brand. I'll wait and see...
