Default Kidderminster 2wd 2012

Here we are at the last round of the 2012 2wd National series. It rained here most of the night, although I wouldn't know as I was tucked up in my comfy bed at Menzies after a very nice dinner!
The track is wet, really wet!!! Locals say that we are due for even more rain today!
Now not wanting to have a 4 hours rebuild on my car, I have decided to wait for some sunshine before I take my clean car on the track, so to keep myself amused I am going to try and entertain this crowd on the mic!
I hope there is a full days racing, and I hope the sun comes out as I think this is amongst the best track in the country and I really want to race here, in the dry that is!
I will try and keep you all posted on the activities here today!

Dc

I should've been there I had to withdraw from 2wd and 4wd. My pleb of a wife sprained her ankle so I've got to stay home and look after my son. What a depressing end to the season.

Good luck everyone, I hope the weather changes for the better.

No rain as of yet, but it's expected, so we only had one 3 minuet practice. We are starting an hour early, so round 1 heat 1 is just about to start.

Don't think there will be any dry runs today. Kiddy will just go to a greasy state if it does start drying, which I doubt. There's thunderstorms Forcast for late afternoon/ early evening so finals may be 'shocking'.

How many rear motors running today??

Cheers for the update DC. Nice to see the local guys doing well.

Thunderstorm hit here 18 miles away and was torrential for 5 minutes. Easing off now but still rumbling.

Did I hear racing has been called off due to the extremely wet weather? So nothing further till tomorrow. Fingers crossed for 4WD if that's the case.

I will have fun tomorrow with Mackmans name, perhaps you could tell me how to say it right haha

I couldn't see how the organisers could have shifted that much water - looks like I made the right choice by doing a runner before it was called!

wasn't much better on the M5 either. I think we were pretty lucky that most of the storm cells passed us by during the heats

Will it be in a state to race tomorrow.

At this rate we'd be better off running season over winter.

TORCH 2011 winter season was dry every meeting.

My season will re start at EPR/TORCH I think lol
