Default Club racing

Just a couple of things to mention about racing at Mansfield, firstly we now have a full complement of newly built ramps and obsticles for the offroaders, so many in fact that we are going to rotate what goes down each week. This will hopefully make for a very different track every time we race.

Secondly, the off road classes are really strong at the moment (4 heats last week) which is great, but the on road / minis are down on numbers, this is something that happens from time to time and will no doubt change back at some point. The only issue is that we really need at least 3 cars of each class to make it viable running a heat, I know that's a pain to know who else is going to turn up on the night but we will have to try and sort something out.

Lastly, and before you say it I know everyone has busy work and home lives but it seems to be these days that the same 2 or 3 people are setting up the track each week and then at ten to seven everyone else comes in and puts their car down to practice ready for racing at 7. If by chance any of you reading this could get there earlier it would be massively appreciated, and would take the strain off the lads who do it every week. On a positive note the packing away has been great with plenty of help so thanks for that.

Thanks, John

yes mate people should remember that we do this as a hobby we get nothing out of it other than the chance to race midweek
i would like to take this time to thank people for helping to put the track away but at the sametime we need help to put the track up as some are getting fed up with 2 or 3 of us doing it on there own. if they is not enough people to help with this the committee with have to take action! perhaps doing what chesterfield does no practice or no practice for people that don't help. i don't want this but it can't go no please please 20 minute sooner will make all the diffrents

Yes indeed. More help needed setting the track up, could actually benefit us all. If the track is set up early, we can start early and maybe get two finals.
Or do it Chessy style!!!
