Default brushless hydroplane project advice

hi all i would just like to ask anyone who has or knows anything about boats for a little advice ,

i bought the boat the boat below which is a nqd 30 inch hydroplane and ripped all the child grade electrics out to do a brushless conversion

ive taken the 2 shafts out and fitted a single one and i have a 540 size motor mount and a 95 mm rudder on order

ive also fitted a water cooling pick up ( im planning on running 2 water systems one for the esc and one for the motor for extra cooling)

my question is as this is my first boat project ive ever done , what size 540 motor will i be better off with i was thinking around 3000kv ???

ive got a 100amp esc on order and have a few 3s lipos so could run it as 3 or 6s

thanks very much in advanced
