Default Summer Series

A massive thanks to all the usual supects...really chilled out day of racing on Sunday, the rain was refreshing but didn't dampen our spirits!

Just wanted to echo a few thoughts from a few of us post race...is there any chance we could use the top of the container as a rostrum some how - I know there will be the usual out cries of "I you want to do then go for it" or some other remark to shoot me out of the sky but we ran the cars round from the top of it and it was seriously amazing for visibility...the scaffolding is perfect but the container elevates the experience (excuse the pun!)
As I say just putting it out there - my Mum taught me there is no such thing as a stupid question so any complaints forward to her - I'm sure a few of you have her number before the ridicule begins thought I'd get that in there!
Anyway thanks again, look forward to the next round for some more fun in the sun/ rain! See you all Wednesday.
Cheers,
Craig

This idea has been thouhhtof before, but as you all know anything we leave out gets trashed by dick heads, its a fair amount of work, which isn't the problem, the problem is it gets really soul destroying repairing the damage every meeting.

problem we've got is make it cheep ish and light it gets smashed up.

Built it strong verry expensive (have look at the price of 2x2 compared to 4x2 twice the size 3times he money and 12mm ply to 18mm) then cos they can't break it they torch it.

Build the rostrum out of scaffolding, week later its been weighed in.
