Default Tyres wear rating

I have a buggy - Losi 22. I currently run a schumacher yellow minipin in rear with hard insert, with stagger rib in front.
I find the rear rear wear very quickly in a months of racing. i mainly race indoor on carpet/wood/lino/gym floor.

Will green or blue mini pin offer similar grip level as yellow one?
how longer do they last over yellow ?

wow well done on getting a month out of them, most don't get any were near that, different compounds will also alter your grip levers

I normally get about one and a half race meetings from a set of schuy minispike yellow rears outdoors at Batley if i'm lucky. I then stick them in the box to use indoors on carpet/polished floor. They work fine for a bit more on those track surfaces, until almost bald.

Yellow Stagger rib fronts, I'm still running the same set since April. I've pretty much used them in every indoor and outdoor meeting since then, and still working great. They last well for me. Shame they have been discontinued, I like that front tyre. The low profile new cut stagger replacement gives me too much front end, and they wear lots quicker I've been told.

On gym floor, the best compound is Yellow - anything else and it'll be significantly less grip.

Blue will wear slower, but at the expense of grip.

A months racing?! I only got that if I race once per month....
Most people are pushing to get 1 meeting from a set (and at that they'll struggle in the final!)

I also run a 10.5 both indoors and out. It's too fast for my regular indoor track and Cullingworth, so I gear down, remove ESC boost, and turn EPA down. It's also plenty quick enough for outdoors at Batley, where I gear up, give it loads of boost on the speedo and remove EPA limits.

Tyre wear could be how you drive, but most likely the surface. Some carpets can give excessive tyre wear. At Cullingworth we run mostly on polished rubber lino floor with some carpet pieces. It seems the well worn balding Schumacher yellow minispikes work best here for me, which is good given i go through lots outdoors at Batley.
I've not had much success with yellow minispikes though, but others like them. Schumacher yellow full spikes are really good on 4wd. They wear pretty well too. I preferred the worn minispikes on my 2wd, but I may give full spikes another try.
