Drat! Looks like its been sold

Sorry for getting your hopes up..... Ironically looks like I could do with one now too, after racing my XX on Sat over at Hinckley, some play has developed where the bulkhead interlocks with the chassis...

So if you do stumble across a bundle of these for sale at a half reasonable price please let us know!!

Okay, thanks anyway.

Real shame - this part is the most difficult to find it seems. It's the same story all over the Web.

Its not so much that its difficult to find.... more that people seem to be trying to sell them for so much - I'd begrudge spending £25+ for a part that was once £5, for a buggy that cost £35 2nd hand

Thats the thing - they were a very popular car back in the day, there must be loads out there, but on ebay they seem to command quite high prices.... theres probably someone in your club that has one stashed away & would be willing to sell for a more reasonable price.

This is the one i'm running;

Dan,

Looks great! My old XX is not so tidy but when I have all the broken bits I will attempt to run it again.

I was planning to attend the Silverstone Club once it is complete so I will see you there!

Cheers

Cool, nice one - would be great to get our two XXs running together, I must admit my off road racing is quite infrequent - I race my Touring Car at the club in Kettering every Friday - but the buggy racing I do when I can, when I have a spare evening, so i'm not at Silverstone every week - prob once a month or so.

Okay - well I haven't raced since the XX was current! I'll let you know when I'm ready.

Out of interest, do you know anywhere that sells new rear wings?

Cheers
