Code Rc CR139 Re-wire?

Can the antenna wire on the core rc 2.4 receivers be redone?
Guy at my local club gave me it to see if it can be done but it looks like a twin core wire to me?

Yes,the screened outer goes to a solder spot next to the inner core solder point.
