Default Ideal gearing for a x2c

What is the best gearing for a x2c running a lrp x12 8.5t motor

Good idea putting the 8.5 back in, I wouldn't want Matt to hurt himself falling off the rostrum laughing

24t pinion with a bit of boost/turbo or 25t without.

I was going to say a touch lower like a 22 tooth with boost and maybe a 23 or 24 without.

Lee,

We run a 23 with a 7.5 turn LRP X12, with no BOOST!!!! You drifted or grip rolled every time you came to the bottom of the straight!!!

i started with 21 @ the stone which was too small.. ended up with 24 pair with a 7.5

happy with that combo now.. its just right

Me too - happiest with 7.5Turn with 24Tooth at Silverstone.
