There is nothing wrong with the stock one... it's not as pretty as a carbon one would be but i've never seen a stock one broken either.

They will be expensive if they exist because of the mounting method, they will need brackets to mount to top of bulkhead/camber block... which adds another weak link imo.

It'll also be another $50 if you break one!

For that sort of money i'd go for the TLR aluminium rear camber block/bulkhead... it adds bling, a bit of weight, strength/stiffness and you won't rip the rear camber ballstuds out of it like you can with kit plastic ones

so its bling that improves the car,

i'd say those carbon shock towers on ebay will flex more than kit ones and it will dig in more if you flipcar over, meaning its more likely to break where shock mounts.

You can get carbon braces that mount across rear tower that add some bling and a lot cheaper than the towers are!

$48 is still a bit steep, and it doesn't say how much UK postage is either on that link fella?

We will have the full range of Team SR stuff here in the UK very soon .

The TLR 22 Carbon fibre rear tower (TSR022), comes with in 4mm with pre-glued edges and supplied with the black aluminium lower base part for strength. The complete tower (tower and base) has an RRP of £39.99, but you may well find some dealers will be doing it for less than that, plus you can buy the replacement carbon fibre tower on its own too, which is £19.99. This way round you get the bling and stength of carbon fibre and also the bling and strength of the alloy lower block.

Obviously shipping from anyone within the UK will only be a £1 or 2 at most then.

First stock is expected later this month, check the full range out on our website www.xfactoryrc.co.uk or click our banner advert at the top of this page.

shes already got the aluminium rear camber block fittefitted, and its got a carbon fibre front shock tower - hence I wanted a rear one to match as the standard black one looks a bit strange on the speartooth chassis with a CF front tower.

I've taken your advice and got one of the CF horizontal braces that will hopefuly stiffen it a bit and adds a bit of bling also. £40 odd is just too much for a rear tower.

yeah, its priced slightly better than others ive seen, but £40 for a pice of carbon fiber is still a bit rich for my party. Opted to a carbon brace insteas, as Freckly chimp quite correctly stated, I only wanted it to look a bit different/shinier than standard and the brace does that fine for a quarter of the price.
