Default Speed Passion GT2 questions

Just got one of these and wanted to know about the LCD programming card.

  1. What does it do that the one that come with it doesn't?
  2. Am I right in thinking the Hobbywing programmer will work with this speedo?
  3. Do I really need one?
  4. Can anyone recommend a set-up for a Cougar SV2 running a 7.5 Motor on astro?
Thanks,

Hamish

I have the hobbywing one and use the 2 in 1 program witch do's work with the speed passion. The best thing to do is go to your local track and ask about, people will show you how it works. All I can say is most people with a S/P have the H/W 2in 1 box.

OK, I have got myself a HW LCD programming card, bargain @ £12 + postage from Giantshark.

Worked out how to use it after a while of playing, but still not sure on all the available options.

What software version are people using?
Can anyone explain all the advanced options a bit better than the manual?
Any suggestions for set-up for 2wd running a 7.5?

Thanks
Hamish
