Default Charging transmitter pack NiCads

Hi, I have an 800 mAh transmitter pack consisting of 8 NiCads - can I charge these using the relevant setting on a Bantam BC6 charger? If so what rate should I charge them at?

many thanks!

Ad.

Nicad setting, I'd say your safe on up to 1.6A if you where in a hurry mate.

I have 2200 NiMh cells in mine, charge at around 0.5A most of the time.

Nicad cells aren't as easy to destroy as LiPo .... you must remember the old days of people shorting 1700SCE cells directly across 12V to get them mega hot before a run
