Isn't the DEX210 ready to run chassis +8mm?

Factory Durango drivers are testing +8mm alum chassis. I think the molded +8 chassis on the RTR is to keep costs down.

Hi Chris,

Many of the optional parts for the Durango DEX210 are now already in stock and available through dealers across the country, the frist images of the chassis though were only released earlier this week.....

Including the cost of producing the mold, is it really that much cheaper than stamping out from aluminium?

Apparantly yes. The cost of the DEX210 chassis minus the side pods is higher than that of the newer SC and ST molded chassis.
