3 Wheelbase lenghts short 210, medium 225 and long 230.
Hpi mini bodies where all 210. Also ABC bodies are 210.

The HPI Civic and Miata bodies are 225mm wheelbase, not 210mm. The HPI Mini could be built at 210 or 225mm, the Nitro Mini was made to the 225mm wheelbase, which is why the Civic is 225mm to fit it.

The M03 such as the Mini Cooper doesn't include the extender piece. You will need an M03M kit, such as the Suzuki Swift to get the 225mm wheelbase.

you get all of the extention parts BTW, so it can be M-03 / M-03M / M-03L

On the subject of M-chassis, I am going to buy a Eunos Roadster but wondered if it was possible to shorten an M-04M chassis so it fits under a Mini bodyshell, or is it the right size already?

I just want a RWD Mini but don't want to hack about my existing M-03 chassis.

The smallest you can make a mo4 is m. You could always make it a l and use a bmw mini body. Have done this and made it to look rallycross style with rear wing etc.

Had a friend who tried to fit a HPI Roadster shell on his M03M.
Didn't work.
The servo mount section of the M03 was too tall for the sleek shell.
