Very much depends on which version and what spec it has on it, there are lots of variations possible!

I've been offered a zx-5 roller was a rtr, but no elec's in now. with a couple of shells and sets of wheels, only been run a dozen times... any idea what it might be worth paying for it?

The RTR has quite a few inferior parts to a standard zx5, like plastic outdrives. Assuming it is good condition i would say it is worth no more than £50 - £60

Thanks that's really helpful, I have had several kyosho's, optima pro, mid turbo, zx-r, zx-rr. But not for ages! Always liked the handling. I can only assume the zx-5 handles pretty well, but it's not got a 1 way for the front wheels I think?? Do most people run it solid 4wd?

To be honest I always found the original zx5 a bit of a handful. If you can stretch your budget to a zx5 sp or even fs I think you would prefer it.

The RTR was a good value car with all the electrics etc but the chassis alone is not worth a great deal as being old hat. However we do have very few of the FS conversions in stock which could make it worth to race with
