Default The official Jarrow NE Outdoor 4WD Regional 2008 thread

No rambling in here please, I and Jarrow club officials will be posting official information in here about the event.

Any idle chit chat, banter or bo**cks can go in the other thread, I'll delete it out of this one

Copied from the previous thread:

Details for JORCR 2008 Outdoor 4WD Regional

Sunday 27th April (4WD)

Unfortunately no camping on site, hence we are running 4WD only.

We will be opening up at 8am.

We will have use of the school facilities i.e. toilets, but sorry electric will be for race control only, so bring your 12V batteries/generators.

We intend to arrange a burger van on site for the entire day or Morrisons is 5 mins away and will be open 10am - 4pm.

We have plans for the track and can ensure everyone that it will not be flat grass.

This is our first regional at this new venue, so please come along and support us. Remember it is the best 3 out of 4 and this is the first round, so you might want to get some early points on the board.

3.7 ‘Commercially Available’ - Where the term
commercially available appears in BRCA documentation
in regard to racing equipment usable
in 1/10th Off-Road Sanctioned events, it is
defined as any item or items being accessible
for purchase by anyone and therefore must be
available in UK retail outlets in reasonable volume
at any one time.

So I would say Yes.

Please not in this thread though Lee.

If you have not entered, please do so BEFORE THURSDAY.

The Jarrow club have requested the entry database be sent early due to the people sorting it out working at the end of the week.

Pre entering through the usual website helps everyone, it speeds up booking in, allows us to get started earlier and packed up and home earlier.

Thanks guys,

G

Default Additional Info for all those attending

Additional Info:
Please Note:
1. This is a school site and as such is NO SMOKING.

2. We have use of an adjacent car park and it will be perfectly possible to pit from cars. You will be able to pit on the field, erect tents etc, but there will be no cars allowed.

3. As mentioned above we have arranged on site catering, for the sake of our relationship with the local residents we would request that once everyone is on site, traffic is kept to a minimum.

Ian, will cars be allowed onto the field to unpack then parked in the carpark, or do we have to carry 12v batteries and tents to the trackside ?

Cheers

There is no cars at all allowed on the field the tarmac area is only seperated from the field by a fence, so it would be just as easy to pit on it. As shown below.

Online booking in is now CLOSED

If you are not booked in now you will have to turn up on the morning and book in.

This is so I can email the database to the club to prepare it for the weekend.

Thanks,

G
