Default 8.5T Brushless Motor

I am looking at buying a new 8.5T brushless motor to run in my Cougar SV2, As there are loads to choose from and i am still new to the sport I really dont know which one to choose.

I have been looking at the speed passion v3.0 8.5T

any advice would be very grateful

cheers

You won't go wrong with the SP V3, great motor. 8.5t should give you plenty of speed in a 2wd.

I've been running a HPI Flux:

Been happy so far, a great price, nicely built and the optional internal cooling fan is handy if you have any over-heating trouble.

I use Vampire motors, I love the face that they have solder tabs and the sensor cable plug location.
