Default Tyre advice

Hi guys, i have a hpi firestorm 10t truck, it looks like our club may well open up a truck class on club nights
I know the wheel is a 12mm hex, but...
I have looked on the Schumacher sight but am a bit confused, do i need the short course fit tyres or truck tyres? also what combination of tyres work well on carpet? yellow pins im guessing on the rear, staggers or pins on the front?
Thanks in advance

Its the truck tyres that fit Steve. The SC tyres have a different diameter inside and outside so only fit SC rims.

Tyre choice id suggest pins rear with staggers on front, or pins front with a few rows cut off.

For a truck you should use truck tyres

Schumacher don't do minipins in Stadium Truck sizes, they used to do a blue microspike but out of production as far as i know and were very aggressive on carpet.

Schuey yellow minispikes, Losi Silver step pins or Ansmann Macnum kit tyres work on back and Schuey yellow stagger ribs on front unless you have excessive understeer with them... proline Dirt Hawgs are quite good on the front on carpet but very soft and grippy.

Hope this helps

The blue micro spike do come up for sale on ebay now and again, but your right, they are very aggressive and not too great on the slippery stuff.
