Default RB ws7 run times?

I've an RB ws7ii with a 2045 pipe and a 7mm venteri in and only getting about 6-7min run time out of it which seems low to me so just wondering what the max run time is I should really be getting out of it? Any help would be much apreciated cheers.

Should really be getting close, if not 10mins with that engine.

Check your drivetrain is free, clutch is in good condition. Also check the glowplug as well. How much running has the engine had?

There are no 10 minute engines.

10 minute drivers yes, engines no.

Run-time depends on many variables.

Not in any order the factors are (but not restricted to) track, track conditions, driving style, tuning skills, condition of engine, fuel, plug, weather, condition of car and on and on....

Do you need to run 7mm Venturi? Try a 6mm
I ran the 2045 pipe, definitely got more fuel mileage with a jp4 pipe (great all round pipe)
Personally I think you would need to be running quite lean & in perfect conditions to get 10 minutes from that engine
My opinion is until a driver is able to drive like the 'fast boys' no point in leaning a motor out for optimum mileage,as I say just my opinion.

Thanks for the advice guys. The engines had about a gallon through it but think I might try the 6mm Venturi. Also thinking maybe a change engine to due to newer developments in them.

Default Ws7

I run a 7mm in mine and get ten mins in a truggy, also tried the 6mm and found the engine underpowered in comparison, just to add graham allsop when he ran for rb told me he ran the 7mm in all his engines with the 2045 pipe.

Cheers for that I might have to lean out slightly on high and low? Going to try to slow down servo too. Going to have to try something to get the times up, I wouldnt class myself as an aggressive driver either.

If you watch this video it will help as the rb and nova carbs are the same

http://vimeo.com/7595905

I used to run my ws7 on 20% nitro and 7mm and it was crazy fast and always got around 10 minutes. I sold it to a guy who raced truggies and he blitzed people with it even though it had done 12 gallons plus when I sold it and all on original bearings and rod. ACE ENGINE - they were never the same once they moved production to the far east....
