Can someone remind me the differences between the red and white slipper pads etc.

White is a higher friction material compared to the white.

I hate to tell you lads but white is not higher than white because they are both white.....
I use white in all my cars. I find the red a bit too course for my style of driving

LOL ... the joys of posting in my 25min lunch break whilst trying to eat
![]() White is higher friction than red .... In 4wd I run red to the front, white to the rear with unpinned slipper (never been able to get on with the pinned slipper or the same pads Fr/Rr with a diff in the front personally ... I need a bit more give in the front when braking to suit my style). Of course if you run the slipper pinned it doesn't really matter if the pads are mis-matched as there is no relative movement possible. In the 2wd car I always run them paired up, white/white 98% of the time and only go red/red when I REALLY need to have the car slipping a long time after each corner. |

Never tried pinned and won't be this weekend.
I landed a spare car with 3 x slippers etc. so I may build a couple of options. i.e. white / white, unpinned and the standard kit setting etc and test. Shame it's not so easier to get it out now with the new carbon fibre top deck. |

The carbon fibre top deck is no harder than the standard one to remove?!?

No I'm not ref the top deck being hard to remove, with the standard deck you don't have to remove it in order to take the slipper unit out.
