Can you test some on some scrap, that's the best way to tell.

I've not sprayed tamiya but have used various other Aerosols over faskolor without any problem.

Make sure the Faskolor is completely cured, ideally heat with a heat gun prior to applying the aerosol. Then you need to mist on the first couple of coats and dry with a heat gun in between coats. Then you can put a slightly thicker coat on but lots of thin coats heat dried in between won't hurt.

indeed, if ever in doubt when dealing with paints, test first.
otherwise, as ian stated also.

Thanks for help another quick question now the faskolor paint is dry it seems to be able to scratch with a finger nail is there a clear coat or something to finish it off and make it more hardy thanks again.

I think most of us on here use Plastikote, you can get a clear or white to back stuff with and I'd usually advise people to put some tape behind that which just protects the paint.

Yeah that would work but probably not as durable as a solvent based paint which will offer more build ( it will build up a thicker coat ).

good tip...don't try to scratch waterbased paints with yer nail straight away

waterbased dry outside to in so may look dry but isn't. paint the shell.. let dry for a day or two. preferebly on a low heater if poss. then, seal your shell and let that sit overnight or for a couple hours if over a heater.

as with anything, the more time that passes, the harder/more durable it gets but when on a relatively tight deadline do as above and you should be ok.
