how can you possibly comment on the mini mini t being crap when its not even launched yet? mini t out of the box was a bit fragile but blinged up was great fun!

Yeah the Mini-T was awesome, it did what it was marketed for - it entertained kids of any age out of the box, and us big kids could make them really really fast...

i can see ur point but if the larger one was fragile, my last mini t i had was pimped out to the max full alloy looks rather sweet. i think id like the smaller version more if in time they had sweet ass upgrades in alloy and stuff . . . . whats this one going to be like ? time will tell . .

i dont mean to be an arse or anything . looks ok tho as i said great effort tho

come on man, Losi pretty much generated the 18th off-road class all on their own... with... the MINI-T. now it is THE class to bridge the gap between non RC users and hard core RC Racers, people can buy these RTR (hobby class) kits and go and play, upgrade, and race at local clubs. and for a very good price, monst manufacturers have an 18th scale RTR car of some discription now.

people had issues with them when the bolted in fast motors and didn't change anything else... what do you expect when its going 5 times faster than it does out of the packet.

i can see what you mean, ive owned a mini t, rc18 FT, both with a brushelss motor system in them ( x compatition mamba ). the diffs blew rather often with the mini t and seemed to be a pain, i was using ball diffs and it ate them, but what can u expect from suthing that small aye . .

i stand corrected, maybe i was kinda harsh, and cars like the mini t do bring more people into the hobby seeing sumthing fast, cheap and easyly upgradble

I wonder if it brings people into the hobby or just lets them skim over the surface.
I dont really "get" RTR, I know its a cheap way in and all that, but half the fun is building the thing.
I got my first proper RC at 11, and I built it myself and learnt loads.
