Default Gremlins

Scratching my head alittle here,

Installed a new ESC and motor, however now when the car is a little distance away the steering seems to be playing up and not centralling properly. Bring the car closer and it is fine no problems.

Thought it must be a reception problem so moved the aerial away from the wires and the motor sensor wire, still the same.

Thought it maybe the capacitors being close to the receiver, moved them and no change

Checked the cables and receiver wires all fine

Changed the ESC software with the programming box (HW) and its still no better.

Anyone any ideas as to what could be the problem ? Never had any problems with my old unsensored setup and all installed in the same place and with the same receiver and servo etc .....
