R10 Settings 10,13,14

Hi, Struggling with the advanced setting on the r10 speed control, working out exactly what they do. Can anyone help/ advise on settings for 10 Boost Timing (currently set to 0),13 Turbo Timing (currently set to 10), and 14 Turbo Slope (currently set to 24).

I have the setup above in my 2wd and currently have loads of wheelspin, looking at the manual it says higher Turbo Timing gives less accelaration, so would I be better increasing turbo timing to 15-20.

I also have the same speedo in 4wd although not been run yet so not sure of handling with the above settings.

If anyone could share there settings for 2wd and 4wd would be a good start, just got the program box and want to know which direction to go in.

If I remember correctly turbo comes in at full throttle and boost during acceleration (or the other way around).

For normal conditions try
10 Boost Timing (currently set to 0) - 8 to 10
13 Turbo Timing (currently set to 10) - 12 to 18
14 Turbo Slope (currently set to 24) - set to 3deg/0.1s

Also drop punch to 1 or 2. It is probably still at 7!!

Start from there and I bet it will feel a lot smoother. I'm assuming you have something like a 7.5/8.5 motor there so also check your gearing.

2wd i am running an R10 with a 7.5 Orion motor and have the boost at 4, the turbo at 12 and slope at 24 with a 0.3 delay on the turbo, this is on high grip astro if wet turn the boost down slightly!
Check your gearing as wel if you are getting a lot of wheel spin and try a bigger pinnion gear?

Thanks for replies, I have 7.5 motor and geared 24/85 have tried different gearing but same result. Punch setting is set at 1, will try settings suggested and see how I go.

For the 210 try a Schumacher 78 with a 25 pinnion!
