Default Orion R10 and Hobbywing program Box

Before I spend hours trying.

Has anyone used the Hobbywing (or speedpassion) program box to talk to the Orion R10 Pro ESC?

From the looks of it the ESC uses the motor sensor cable instead of the usual receiver connection so I may have to make up a lead.
Initial thoughts are Pin 6 - 5V, Pin 1 0V (Gnd) and pin 5 (motor temperature sense) for the signal. Anyone tried this?

Yes you can use the HW box as long as it is connected to the computer.

As a stand alone box you are unable to unless the new box software is out?

Do you still need to connect through the motor sensor cable using that method?

Latest software database was something.20 I checked last night. No idea what the newest is. Maybe when the V3 comes out it will be easier???
