Angry Litter

I don't usually moan, but when packing away on friday I noticed that in certain area of the pits there was a hell of a lot of rubbish left behind.

The floor and the carpet you are pitting on is not a dust bin! Especially considering that the carpet we use to cover the pits area is our race carpet.

There are plenty of bins around the venue, if you can't find one come and ask at race control. Or alternatively take your rubbish home with you.

Couldn't agree more. With us bringing our little ones down with us we do inevitably take snacks etc for them to eat and drink but we without exception remove our rubbish at take it with us. I've noticed on previous weeks that some don't which I personally find disrespectful to the club and it's members.

At this point I'd like to pass on my apologies to others as on Friday we didn't hang about as my youngest had fallen asleep under the pit table so thought it best to get him to bed. We do tend to stop to pack up as well as setting up which I notice a fair few do not. If more people help setup and pack away we'd all gain benefits eg extra practise time etc.
