West Suffolk Model Club - All Day Meeting (11 March 2012)
Hi All,
West Suffolk Model Car Club would like to invite you to an all day fun meeting that we are hosting on 11 March 2012.
It will be held at our usual venue of Risby Village Hall, just outside Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. Racing will be on Primafelt carpet, track measuring about 20x12m. We use AMB timing through either personal transponders or club handouts. Additives are allowed, provided that tires are touch dry when the car is put on the track.
This meeting will have doors opening at 8:00am, booking in by 9:00 and we plan to finish around 6:00 - 7:00pm. We will have three rounds of qualifying and three finals, best two finals to count. The aim of this meeting is as a practice / warm up for the 3-Round summer series we are hosting for Mardaves (dates to be anounced).
We will support the following classes - 1s LiPo / 13.5t Brushless Class, 4-cell / G2 Brushed Class (both run to current 'BRCA' rules) and a "SuperDave " class, provided there are sufficient numbers.
The hall has plenty of pitting area and 240 mains outlets are available (but please bring an extension lead and multi-plug just in case!). Drivers who use 12v car batteries must have these in a leak-proof container.
Tea, coffee, soft drinks, chocolates and hot snacks (bacon butties etc) will be available. There will also be a Mardave spares shop on site during the meeting.
