4X4 needed for charity rally event.

Hi chaps - hope someone may be able to help with this one.

A work colleague and close friend of mine has a son who suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy which is a muscle wasting disease. It's thankfully not a common disease, but is one that wrecks the lives of those that suffer with the disease and their families.

This August, a rally is being organised to raise funds for the sufferers. One of the stipulations is that each car entered into the 4 day event must have a "theme". My mates son has asked for a Jurassic Park car - and hence we're on the lookout for a very cheap 4x4 of some description. MOT would be a bonus - but if it's something that's failed on niggly items that's not a problem.

If you should have something suitable - please consider my request! Happy to collect from pretty much anywhere in the UK if suitable.

Try some of the larger main dealers in your area for part exes mate.
They might be able to help you out with something they took in. Older vehicles have no value at all to a main dealer.
If they help you out you would almost certainly get some space in your local paper for an article, kind of a win win situation. Publicity for you and them.
And dont ring, go in and talk to them.
