Default Urgent Help Please - Steering

Hi all,
Took my new B4.1 RTR out yesterday and once or twice the car stuck on full lock then it was fine again. Went back out today and as soon as I turn my transmitter on it's like the steering callibrates and then locks on full lock right and doesn't respond to any wheel movements?
Also, if I turn the transmitter off the car then goes full speed forwards?

Nothing has been touched overnight.

Any thoughts? My son is gutted :-(

Check your radio settings first, but it could be the servo horn on the servo has stripped or the servo saver has broken !

any contact with water? if so could have got into either the servo or the reciever,

not got a b4.1 but have got an sc10 and i had a similar issue where the steering was fine for a couple of races then started to need constant trimming and eventually was knocked onto full lock, this was caused by a loose servo mount sometimes the servo horn could have come loose too,

are all the settings on the transmitter correct?

if you do have problems with the servo or reciever you should be able to send them back either through the shop or by yourself if its a fault that hasnt been caused by incorrect use,

Default steering

check your transmitter settings or your servo horn, sometimes the transmitter gives too much steering and this causes it to lock sometimes or the servo horn fitted is too large so the servo goes too far.

if your b4 goes on full throttle then maybe you could re-calibrate it on your esc.

thanks

Thanks guys but as a complete newbie (and we didn't build this) I don't really understand what you are saying.

Forward, reverse all works ok. Tried the antenna in different positions and it makes no difference. No water contact.

I'd be pretty annoyed if anything was broken after a 10 minute run on a field.

Really appreciate your help and I can't believe DMS are shut on Saturdays!!

Thanks Gainsy, that is really kind of you. I'm in Rickmansworth/Harefield so not far away at all and would appreciate any help.
When I turn receiver and transmitter power on there's 3 a few low beeps the a couple of higher pitch ones? Anything unusual?

I finish footie around 4pm in Watford tomorrow so could drive up after that if you're sure its not a problem?
