TRF501X Diff cover and Lipo holder

Hi Tamiya fans,

i wanted to ask here if anybody has got a new or used 501X diff cover and Lipo holders. Would pay a fair price and have paypal.Please let me know.

Fredrik should be able to manufacture the parts for you. He designed the CAD files for both parts. I believe he owns the machine to make the Diff Cover; and the Lipo Tray is made off-site by Fiber-Lyte (if I remember correctly)..

I had Fredrik make me a set for the 501X last year..

Yes he told exactly the same as you but i told him i will ask if somebody wants to sell first, this would be the easier way for both of us as i know he isn´t keen on selling them anymore. He didn´t make any profit with them...

Lipo holders can be nearly impossible to find, but just search eBay "Tamiya 42163" and you will find them.

Hey Aaron, thanks for the tip but the one i am looking for is for the 501X, not the 511. Also the one for the 511 is much worse than Fredriks solution as the Tamiya Lipo holder needs to have the bulkhead modified with a Dremel before Lipos will fit- bad solution, Fredriks is much smarter
