Default Good Old Days

Its great to see Kyosho back on the Map. There were loads of Lazers at The Off Road Wars Well done Neil, Tony and the Kyosho Team.

My favourite car which i still have is the LWB Optima Mid which i converted from a SWB. I took this to many wins in the Southwest Regionals in the 80's + some wins up country. Check out this vid

Good old days apart from the SCE Cells only to be used once a day and £50 a pack!!

I would love to see some more old footage. Anybody got any?

Tell you what, thats some bloody quick & efficient marshalling at 1.02...

The cars may be somewhat slower than these days but that marshals little legs seemed to be a blur... wish he was at my club, i need marshals like him

It is amazing, it seems really weird now to see a car dump at the end of the run, back then it was the norm Nowadays if my car slows down at the end of a run i think there is something wrong with it.

Now it is just go out for the warmup, fly around for 2 minutes, do a five minute race and still have plenty of juice to carry on going round for another five minutes afterwards and all at full attack all the time, no taking it easy and timing a sprint in the last minute.

In a way it was really annoying at the time but I do actually miss it.

Dumping was the bane of my life back in the day. I can't tell you how many times I'd have either got into the lead or into a decent position only to feel it slow down and die on the last lap lol. It must be a much more level playing field these days and that's kinda one of the things that makes me want to get back into it x
