Batley Meetings - Appreciation

Another good meeting today - despite the poor weather keeping some away.

36 turned up to race so it was definitely worth the effort to get there and the Sports Centre staff cleared a good pathway for the trolley from the container to the door.

Feedback was that the the track was good again so thanks to everyone involved.

This forum is often used for complaints etc but I would like to say that there is a great atmosphere at the club amongst the drivers and their families.

Also - one of the great things about it is that everyone helps to get the track in and out - it only takes about 10 minutes at the end of the meeting to put all the track and equipment into the container.

This is often one of the reasons that clubs fold - not enough help from everyone and it is often left to the same few people each time and they eventually get fed up of everyone watching them do the work and eventually give up.

I would like to say thanks to everyone at the Club for regular attendance at the meeting and your help with the track - this is just what the club needs!
