If it helps at all...

12th Scale cars are the most demanding on radio systems. Not only is everything crammed together closely in the car, inviting interference, but he cars have 250W of power, weigh 730g and have more grip than any other class. That tests radio systems to the limit on clarity of signal, speed of response, linearity and accuracy of signals and receivers and reliability. It used to be the case that KO was the Tx of choice, but today there are fewer and fewer of them.

Most people have swapped to the Futaba FASST and Sanwa Ezxes FHSS systems as they are the best we can find. They are a bit more expensive than the general fare on offer, but they are simply the best of all the systems for the thing we need as RC racers - control!!

There are usually Futaba 3VC systems for sale on here, and if you can get one with the FASST system then it is well worth the money. I have also tried the FRSky receiver with a Futaba 3VC FASST system and it works well. As about £25 it is great value compared to the 603FF receiver Futaba offer. HTH
