Default imax b6 balance charging error

ive bought 3 3 cell lipos and a imax b6 lipo balance charger but it will not charge in balance mode but will normally

the error im getting is vol err cell connect ive noticed that alot of people have had the same problem

im using turnigy 11.1v 3 s 20/30c 2200mah lipos all wires are connected as they sould be

can anyone shed any light on this please

I got the same items but have no problems. Mine all balance perfectly.

I know this may sound obvious but have you got the charger set up correctly? Like setting it to 11.1v and 3 cell. As the balance mode is set separatly to the ordinary charge mode

may sound daft but have you plugged in the white plug i know ive forgot to do that a few times

Do you know someone else with a charger that you could try your batteries on and does your charger balance charge 2 cell batteries ok?
You may have a faulty 3cell balance lead socket.
I had the same error once but it turned that one of the pins on my balance extension lead had come out.

IM 99 % sure its the balance lead,the little thin wire brakes inside the rubber coating,you need to eather replace it or find the split and repair it
