Default Looking for affordable transmitter Lipos

I have a Sanwa M11X and have been trying to find an affordable lipo battery, it must be 2S 7.4v with a receiver plug. The manual states NOT to use 11.1V 3S Lipos.

So far I have only found the Lrp VTEC lipo but at £44.99 thats a bit too much. Failing that, I would setting for another NiMH pack, but my current 1500Mah pack is not taking much charge and I don't have the AA battery tray.

Can anyone help out ? I've searched on fleabay without much success

Thanks for the link, but I'm struggling to find a 7.4v pack that would fit inside the M11x.

I would have thought I could have used an 11.1v lipo like most other transmitters, but the manual does state clearly in BOLD, not to use 11.1v 3Cell lipos, but only to use 2Cell 7.4v ?

Look for a LiFe battery if you have a charger for it?

Check RClazy, they got affordable Tx lipos.

Don't know what's yours exactly but bought one for my Esprit 3 and glad I did, no more battery to charge every week and a lot lighter too.

Thought I was getting lucky there, but according to the dimensions, that one is about 10mm too thick, theres not much depth in the M11x battery compartment. I'll keep seaching, but thanks for your help.

I've send Simon an email, I notice they do 11.1v lipos, see if he can maybe source me a 7.4v version.

thanks guys for all your help, looks like the intellect one from Demon, will do the trick, not quite the correct shape, but thin enough to fit and secure with some foam, might need to change the plug but that is easy enough.
