Default Potential for a New Club & Track

hiya folks

there has been some talk between a few peeps in regards to creating a new offroad nitro track in the or around the Manchester area.(well it is the centre of the universe after all)
There seems to be a huge hole here as there is nothing in the area that caters for 1/8 offroad cars, truggys n trucks.

Just posting this to gather some interest and hopefully encourage people to put in some input and/or be a part of what is to come.

The main thing is locating a suitable piece of land as the track / club venue and some of the guys are contacting local authorities for help.

Also a note: the guys on this mission have found acces to plenty of astroturf , shipping containers (race control/podium) scaffolding, fencing and one of the lads has even got the timing gear sorted.
so the ball is rolling a plenty!

So folks hope we can gather help, advice, pointers as its supporting and promoting our sport/hobby even further.

we have also setup a forum to talk about this come and have a look http://manchesteroffroad.theiforum.com

thanks for looking
